The purpose for the pop-up is to provide a "3-D" prototype of the ultimate buildout planned for the middle yard, which will allow visitors to provide feedback on the design, as well as get a feel of what the "plaza" will look like once constructed. In addition, the space will serve as an alternative play area while the playground is under construction.
