It’s home to the Alemany Farmers Market, the oldest one in California.

The Bernal Heights Neighborhood Center served generations of Bernalites through its programs for seniors, youth and housing.

There are four public parks in the area: Bernal Hill, Holly, Precita and St. Marys and dozens of smaller green spaces. The Ogden Avenue Gardens will add one more!

We have a miniature Sutro tower atop Bernal hill, often referred to as “Sutrito,” Spanglish for baby Sutro.

We have our very own film festival in the Bernal Heights Outdoor Cinema.

Our local business corridor on Cortland has countless delicious restaurants, coffee shops and unique stores.

The Bernal Heights Public Library has anchored the community since the 1930s.
